Typewritten letter from C.G.L. Syers [Private Secretary to Prime Minister] to Frederick Lanchester, 05 November 1937
05 November 1937
Prime Minister cannot see Lanchester. Suggests approach Secretary of State for War direct. It is not clear what the purpose of the proposed visit was, but presumably was connected with the new bomb he had under development (i.e. Provisional Specification 2458, see item LAN/1/4/1).
