Draft typewritten letter from Frederick Lanchester to [?] Burgin, 25 Apr 1939
25 Apr 1939
Comments on current international affairs; is distrustful of making any pact with Hitler; “Chamberlain must go”. Expects “axis” powers, including Spain, to attack and render useless Gibraltar and so control the Straits. The letter concludes that he believes in force, has a Teutonic brain and so can easily work out what Hitler will do.
